86. Jardim, by Catherin J Pascal Dunk

A verbing for Selma Martin

Each day I go springing outside
with my mulberried hair
caping for gooseberries
measurling the seed growth
as they go jacking and beanstalking up the citrus

I pond for snails
then meadow in the mellow grasses
turpentining my time
ladybugging out
petalled by leafhoppers

  1. . 🤣 m’lady! What fun you brought me. Mulberried hair is gorgeous. And the rest, spectacular. I was sure you’d be this good. Bless you. Be well. Happy springing

    1. Selma thank you!!! Now that you've been invited, you're allowed to post garden-related poetry here too! The rule is that every poem must be written for another existing member of the blog or for someone you want to invite. The blog is only for invitees, and you can only join if invited by a gardenish poem :)
